About Sweet Tuna Halcyon

Located at 6330 Halcyon Way #730, Alpharetta, GA 30005, Sweet Tuna Halcyon operates as a poke bowl serving Alpharetta in Georgia. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Its Google rating is 4.2 out of 5 from 277 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.

Alpharetta is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Alpharetta is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Georgia's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

The food tasted great, but, as others have mentioned, the portions are very small. It's as if the toppings are coming out of the employee's paychecks. Great food, but the portions need to be bigger in my opinion. I got a "large" bowl with 2 portions of tuna and 2 portions of salmon, and it didn't even seem like 20g of protein.

A co-worker and I went for lunch and were so thrilled to see that the marketplace had poke. Pros are a pretty extensive menu with a large variety of protein, toppings, add-ons, and sauces. The women at the counter were super friendly, all smiles, and very efficient. The atmosphere of the whole marketplace is very fun and inviting. It was a perfect day weather-wise, so sitting outside was awesome. Cons are short. Biggest con is that the value for what you get. I was a little sketched out when I saw the ice cream scooper come out for the spicy tuna. Although the price for a 3-protein bowl was very affordable, the service sice was microsocopic. It was borderline a bowl of rice with a garnish of fish on top. The rice was very stale. I would recommend for sure, but there is room for improvement on the build of the bowls. I have to imagine they throw more fish away each day than they serve with those portions.

The food was very overpriced for the subpar flavors and lack of protein. I ordered the chicken and steak bowl thinking there would be a good amount of each. The lady serving the food with hardly decent customer service gave a quarter size scoop of each protein. If you’re visiting Halcyon, I recommend trying any other spot. Will not be returning, unfortunately.

This food is absolutely delicious!!!! You can choose what size bowl you want, what kind of protein, rice or vegetables, or half rice/half spring mix with a variety of additional fresh toppings!!! I love the brown barley rice with spring mix, grilled chicken, and different toppings. My husband loves the raw salmon. Their sauces are incredibly tasty. When you mix everything together, it is a burst of flavor and so healthy! Every bite is perfect. For those of you who want both flavor and healthy food, this is the perfect place. For those who love hibachi flavors, this is also for you! Please give it a try. You will be back for more!!! The staff is so friendly, and their station is always so clean. I definitely recommend eating here!

It's rare that I post a 1 star review, but this place deserves it. We ordered two bowls and the portion size, the flavors, and the service were all lacking. I ordered the large bowl, which includes four scoops of protein. If you pick shrimp, be prepared to only receive 3. Once you see the size of the protein scoop, it's quite shocking how tiny it is. The ingredients are strictly rationed instead of focusing on making a tasty bowl. The customer service is non-existent. Like other reviewers have stated, the bowls are small and be warned you may need to order another dinner somewhere else after you dine here. I will not be going back and hope these reviews help improve their operation. Good luck!
